Note:-* The precious metals used to produce catalytic converters have seen unprecedented increases in cost. The catalyst is made with Rhodium, Palladium and Platinum. Over the last 3 three years Platinum (Pt) has tripled to an all time high and Palladium- (Pd) rose from $150 to $355 per ounce. Rhodium (Rh) has increased over 600%. Suppliers in the industry, including DMI, are forced to deal with these increases and pass along a surcharge with each catalyst sold.
